The study, "A-BA-CAI-DA: A Beginner's First Step of Learning," introduces a culturally responsive digital platform tailored for Filipino-speaking children aged 6 to 9 in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, to enhance literacy and reinforce cultural identity in a multilingual, globalized world. By integrating the Filipino (Tagalog) alphabet and language through interactive games, quizzes, and audio-visual content, A-BA-CAI-DA addresses concerns about excessive screen time, such as diminished attention spans, lack of physical activity, and reduced interpersonal skills, while delivering engaging, meaningful educational experiences. The platform serves as a centralized tool for early childhood learning, enabling young learners to connect with content rooted in their cultural and lived experiences, fostering academic success and pride in Filipino heritage. Developed through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and employing a descriptive research method, the study surveyed parents and students to evaluate the system's performance, revealing strong satisfaction with its user-friendliness, functionality, and efficiency, alongside the need for features like report generation, advanced quiz management, and feedback mechanisms. Secure user authentication, including email/ password login, ensures safe access for children and parents, with planned regular updates and security audits to maintain system reliability and user trust. The findings underscore the platform's potential to promote inclusive, culturally relevant education, supporting Filipino language proficiency and cultural preservation in an increasingly digital landscape.
