Abstract

This thesis, entitled “CDSGA Scheduling System: An Effective Tool in Conflict Management of Courses,” addresses the crucial role of room scheduling in fostering a conducive learning environment at Colegio De San Gabriel Arcangel (CDSGA). The study aims to develop and enhance a sophisticated room scheduling approach tailored to the unique needs of CDSGA, with a focus on effective conflict management and optimization of academic schedules. Drawing upon the challenges posed by existing room scheduling methods, which often prioritize requests based on chronological order and struggle to manage course conflicts efficiently, this research endeavors to pioneer a new era in course scheduling at CDSGA. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and considering the diverse academic requirements and preferences of students and faculty, the proposed Colegio De San Gabriel Arcangel (CDSGA) Scheduling System seeks to introduce an innovative tool for seamless coordination of academic activities. The study utilizes a comprehensive research methodology involving data collection from diverse sources. The efficient management of educational resources is paramount in enhancing the overall efficiency and reputation of CDSGA. Hence, the proposed room scheduling system not only benefits students by providing seamless access to facility schedules and optimizing resource utilization but also contributes to the institution’s continued growth and success. Furthermore, the project provides valuable real-world experience for computer science students, aligning with current trends in the field and emphasizing practical applications of computer science courses. By addressing the limitations of existing scheduling systems and emphasizing the importance of dynamic scheduling, this research aims to contribute significantly to the optimization of educational resources and the enhancement of the overall learning experience at Colegio De San Gabriel Arcangel (CDSGA).
